Rolled Candles

Saw a card on Pinterest with 6 rolled candles a couple of weeks ago, and just KNEW I had to make one!  My hubby turned 37 today, so I was able to make this.  I told my girls that they were all totally getting cards like this for their birthdays!  I cut all the pieces first--I used 2"x1" pieces of patterned paper and cardstock for the candles.  Even though the patterned paper was patterned cardstock, the regular Stampin' Up! cardstock was harder to roll.  I suppose it might have been easier if I would have curled it like curling ribbon before I cut it, but I think I might just try to stick with patterned paper.  After that,  I used some Tombo glue to attach the 1/2" pieces of Baker's Twine.  Then I took a strip of Sticky Strip tape and applied it to the closing part of the roll(I did this prior to rolling, so I could just close it easily).  To apply all of the candles to the card, I applied 3 long strips of Sticky Strip across the whole card, and placed them.  Some work, but WELL worth it!  Thanks for looking!
