Happy Birthday

This was a fun and quick card to put together....just adhere some circles to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of cardstock, then run them in an embossing folder through a Big Shot or Cuttlebug machine.  The folder used on this card is Chevron from Stampin Up.  Then just top it with a stamped label and give it extra dimension with some dimensionals.

Nursing Cover

These are some nursing covers that I made with Stampin Up fabric.  They were a lot more work, as you had to sew 2 panels together to be the right size, but they turned out lovely!  They also have a secret pocket for storing breast pads, a soother, and they make a perfect "napkin" for wiping baby's mouth after!  They also happen to make a great apron!

My Digital Studio 2 is HERE!!!

Yay!!!  It's finally HERE!!  I am so excited!  And you can try it for FREE--even if you have downloaded a trial for MDS 1.  Try it HERE.
After using MDS 1 for just over a year, I can't wait to try all the cool new things they have put in this new software.  I was priveleged to be a part of a questionnaire that asked what would be good to add to the new software.  Many of my personal preferences must have been across the board with others, because Stampin' Up has added almost all of the things I said I would like!  I can't wait to get busy playing!  Stay tuned as I hope to get some videos up soon!!!

Smiles with a Chance of More Smiles

Happy Wednesday!  Just thought I'd share another page I did for a class with Heather Summers.  I love classes!  They are a really great way to force yourself to do things....like these pics from two years ago! Nothing like doing a scrapbooking class to get your bum in gear--now, after doing 12 pages in two weeks, I admit, I've now done ZERO in the last 6!  Time to get a move on!!  Thanks for popping by!

These were fun little tea holders that I made for a team meeting.  I have never done shading straight onto the patterned paper before, but I really like how they turned out!
